Community Wellness

The Fort McMurray First Nations envisions an integrated system of wellness services to support growth and healing for our Membership. These services are available through our Community Wellness Centre, which was created by Chief and Council to contribute to the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness of our Nation.

All Wellness Workers can provide support with mental health, addictions, interim counselling, crisis counselling, child welfare assistance, legal assistance, budgeting, funeral support, NA and/or AA meeting support in addition to other wellness support groups, identification, taxes, hospital visits, and assistance with access to traditional medicines and ceremonies.

Lac St. Anne Pilgrimage

The pilgrimage to Lac St. Anne will take place on Sunday, July 24th to Friday, July 29th, 2022. The Fort McMurray 468 First Nation has began planning and is requesting Elders who are interested in attending to fill out an application form which will assist us in planning and organizing the event.

Lac St Anne Pilgrimage coordinators are hoping to resume the traditional practice of gathering in-person, however, there is a lot of planning that needs to be done in the coming months and we will need to confirm event attendance.

Applications are now open and the deadline to apply is Friday, June 24th 2022; once applications are reviewed, you will be contacted to confirm details.

You can submit your application using the button above or any of the methods below:
