The Nikinan Community Centre will be home to the Fort McMurray 468 First Nation.
Opening in 2024, it will be located at Indian Beach – a culturally significant gathering place for the community, where our people have held ceremonies and celebrated our culture for generations.
Meaning “Our Place” in Cree, Nikinan holds a deep connection and sense of ownership and pride for the community.
