CFS Urban Office Summit

For the first time in history, we as a Nation have the opportunity to create our own Child Family Services Law. Bill C-92: An Act respecting First Nations, Inuit and Métis children, youth, and families, affirms and recognizes our right to determine how to provide Child and Family Services in our community and keep our children safe and connected to their families, culture, and community.
Together, we are exploring what service delivery looks like today and into the future for our Nation, as well as seeking to understand the transformation needed to address the over-representation of Indigenous children and youth in care in Canada.
FMFN468 Members – please join us March 19-22, 2024, to have your voice heard. Each day will be filled with inspiring conversations, activities, sharing circles, and the opportunity for us to come together as a community. Lunch with be provided and honorariums will be given to Elder’s in attendance.
