On May 5, 2022, all members of Chief and Council were present at a Duly Convened Meeting.
Notice is hereby given that a General Election will be held on:

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2022

In-Person voting will take place: Friday, September 16, 2022
Between the Hours of 10:00am and 10:00pm

Voting Stations will be located at:

  1. FORT MCMURRAY 468 FIRST NATION
    ADMINISTRATION BUILDING
    GREGOIRE LAKE 176
  2. CHATEAU NOVA HOTEL & SUITES
    159 AIRPORT ROAD
    EDMONTON, ALBERTA

Appointment of Electoral Officer

On May 5, 2022, all members of Chief and Council were present at a Duly Convened Meeting.
Notice is hereby given that the Electoral Officer for the September 16, 2022 Election will be:

Loretta J Pete Lambert

Ms. Lambert is a mother, aunt, grandmother, and wife. She is from the Little Pine Cree Nation. Her education includes degrees in Education and a Juris Doctor in Law. She is currently a practicing lawyer and has taught elementary, secondary, and post secondary school. She possesses Professional Teaching Certificates from the provinces of Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. She managed and coordinated the creation of the website http://www.creedictionary.com. Loretta was an elected Board Member with the Greater Catholic School Division and an appointed Board Member of the Many Nations Cooperative Board. She experience on these boards shows proven success in governance and leadership. Loretta brings a vast amount of experience in her role as an Electoral Officer including providing election management across Canada with on-line voting management services.
