Located 45 minutes SE of Fort McMurray near the beautiful Gregoire Lake, the Fort McMurray #468 First Nation consists of approximately 700 members. Our predominant language is Woodland Cree and we are governed by Chief Ron Kreutzer, Councillor Ronald Kreutzer Jr., and Councillor Byron Bates.

Ancestry of our band includes Woodland and Plains Cree, and Chipewyan and Beaver (Dene) peoples. The Nation has hunted, trapped, fished, and gathered berries and plants since the mid-1600s through an expansive traditional area.
